The sign of the balance is not, as many people think, always on a even keel. In fact the symbol of Libra is about this sign's continuing struggle to find the balance! Most people see this sign as disliking raised voices and confrontation. In fact, anything for the quiet life. Most of the time that is true. They tend to be the mediators. The ones to coin a phrase "to bring balance to the" well whatever it is that people are having heated discussions about. It doesn't necessarily mean that they don't do things their way and in fact, can be extremely stubborn about certain things.
Librans can be very co-operative but they can also be complainers. If you give them a task to do then let them do it. They can be very fast and efficient if left to get on with things. If you constantly harass them about all different kinds of things then they will lose it. Most often they will feign illness or something so as to leave a bad situation as direct confrontation is often avoided and only seen as a last resort. If you leave them in peace they can be multi-taskers but generally this sign tends to like to do one thing and then move on to the next, much like the other sign ruled by Venus, Taurus. They both share a love of beauty and can be very attractive people. Libra tends to have softer features and dimples are common. They can be extremely concerned about their looks although will give the impression that they don't care or spend little effort maintaining their figures.
Of course Venus can make them extremely lazy too and this is not necessarily the sign of the housekeeper despite wanting calm and beauty surrounding them. Remember they fight to keep the balance and this is often the sign of the "blitz" cleaner. Someone who will clean when others are coming over but will just leave things if it is only for themselves. Also they clean for appearances. Don't go looking in too many cupboards because you may get a shock - out of sight - you know. They are however very loyal to friends and family.
