CAPRICORN - DECEMBER 22ND TO JANUARY 21ST
GENERAL
Jupiter will still be in Pisces when the year begins and will move into Aries, forward into Taurus and back into Aries as the year progresses. Saturn is in Libra and will be all year. Almost at the beginning of the year there will be a solar eclipse on 4th January which is significant and will counter balance the lunar eclipse of 21st December 2010. The set of eclipses this year are predominately in Gemini and Sagittarius. Mercury will have gone back to normal so those of you wanting to buy at the January sales may find some good bargains. Your individual forecasts for 2011 will tell you what kind of year it will be. The world is changing all around us and if there is one thing that applies to everyone is be ready for changes. Nothing can ever stay completely the same as much as some of us want it to and with two mutable signs governing the eclipses that indicates ebb and flow of change. The economy is also likely to have that ebb and flow too but there will be a lot of changes within government likely too at this time. Saturn in Libra will try and establish a good balance.
2010 was a tough year for many but you should have done fairly well despite all the agonies around you. Why? Basically Capricorn is a careful sign in terms of finance. Many might laugh at the thought if they saw the way you can shop! However you tend to be aware of your bank balance and do not tend to over-assume your credit, much preferring to buy what you can afford or save and buy the best. This is what works. Of course you are capable of splurging but for the most part you do live within your means. An afflicted ascendant may give you a less cautious side but generally Capricorn and your ruler Saturn take care of most of you.
Now 2011 is good on family and communications but the area that could give you concern is your career and work area. Also solar and lunar eclipses in Sagittarius in your 12th house are likely to give you some areas for thought. As with any year really though ups and downs will occur. The first half of the year with Jupiter in Aries will make your 3rd house a little aggressive and this is where the family reside. It doesn't necessarily mean a lot of arguments but you will be fired up to do something on the domestic front if you are unhappy in that area. For a brief time it will go into Taurus and this is far more to your liking as it is a compatible sign so you can see some good and some bad.
The effect of a bad 2010 for many may well affect some of you in the work front as mentioned. It may be none of your doing but there may be restrictions or cost cutting which you feel could hinder you and you may want to try new things. Check your monthly horoscope for the best time to do this as you want to avoid Mercury retrograde and conflicting planetary alignments given the shaky economy.
